Understanding and Correcting Errors in Complex Sentences
Despite the rain pouring heavily, the students who had arrived early, decided to leave early because they wanted to avoid the traffic which was caused by the accident on the main road. The teacher, who was tired but determined, started the lesson promptly, although some students were late, and appeared distracted. Many of the books, that were on the table, were out of order, and the noise which was coming from the corridor disturbed the class. As the storm raged outside, the children, who were excited and scared, huddled together, trying to listen to the story, that the librarian was reading. The essay, which I had written the night before, was not only well-structured but also showed signs of deep analysis, although I felt it could be improved with more vocabulary. The coach, who had been preparing for weeks, finally arrived, but the players, who had missed their breakfast, seemed lethargic and unprepared. Despite the difficult circumstances, the team, which was composed of experienced players, managed to win the game, although the spectators, who had come early, were anxious until the final whistle blew.
