Understanding Subordinating Conjunctions
As the storm raged outside, she realised that her decision to stay was both brave and foolish. While the thunder cracked loudly, she thought about her next move. Although the night was terrifying, she felt a strange sense of calm inside. Because the wind was so fierce, she decided to secure the windows firmly. Whenever she looked out into the darkness, she wondered what secrets it held. Even though she was afraid, there was a part of her that was eager to face whatever came next. Since the rain showed no sign of stopping, she knew she had to prepare for a long night.
