Analysis of 'Follower' - Extract and Techniques
My father worked with a horse plough, / His eye narrowing and his brow tightens, / As he steers through the fields, the earth whispers beneath, / The dawn's early light kissed by dew, the silent rhythm of nature. / I stumbled in his wake, trying to mimic his stride, / The plough slicing through the soil, a dance with the land. / The wind carried the scent of fresh earth, fresh growth, / While shadows of the trees flickered in the morning sun. / The work was relentless, yet in that toil, a harmony grew, / The land embraced our labour, in its silent, enduring way. / I watched him guide the horse, a master of his craft, / His strength rooted in the land, in nature’s timeless rhythm.
