Error Correction and Analysis in 'Kamikaze'

Her father embarked at dawn, and limped back home; A tuna boat, which had been caught in the storm, He must have wondered which had been the better fight, His honour or the sea. In the cockpit, I saw him wave him farewell, And I could not help but feel my heart tighten.

The wind was heavy and the sky was grey, The clouds gathered, dark and low. He climbed into his plane, with resolve in his eyes, Knowing he might not return.

But as he soared into the sky, He remembered his mother's words, 'Keep your honour, my son.' And in that moment, he chose to turn away.
