Analysis of Byron's Poetry

When I have fears that I may cease to be Before my pen has gleaned my teeming brain, Before high-piled books, in charactery, Hold like a rich garnier the dead of my name, So thou, my love, may never fade away, So thou, my love, may never fade away. Fear not the loss of life or fame, But fear the silencing of my voice, For in my words, I leave my name, A legacy that will endure, A whisper in eternity. Yet still I hope that in my verse, My soul's voice will forever sing, A universe within my purse, A hope for what the future brings, That poetry's eternal flame shall burn, And through my lines, my spirit turn.
