"When we arrived in Britain, we faced many challenges. The streets were unfamiliar, and we struggled to find work and housing. Despite these difficulties, we were proud to be part of Britain’s future. Many of us came to build a new life, but we often felt unwelcome and misunderstood. Our community worked hard to integrate and contribute to society, even when faced with discrimination and prejudice.
